Hey Ya'll, Welcome to my first travel blog! I recently traveled to Paris, France and wanted to tell everyone about my experience and what I recommend. First off, Paris has been on my vacation bucket list since I was a young girl. One of my dreams was to go to the Eiffel Tower. I went to France with my parents and we only went a couple days, because I had to be in London for school (I will also have a blog on London).
Weather:
Definitely pack a big jacket, gloves, scarf, and umbrella if going in January! It is chilly and it rained while there. Pack big sweaters like the one I am wearing above from Nordstrom. This sweater is perfect because I could wear it during the day for a casual look and dress it up at night! Not to mention, the sleeves are too cute and it keeps you warm! I attached a similar sweater that is under $50!
Favorite Tour:
The tour I recommend includes dinner at the Eiffel Tower, a boat ride, and a musical! The dinner was at 58 Tour Eiffel, which is a restaurant located on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. It was so magical! The restaurant had spectacular views of Paris. Next, a cruise down the Seine river that lasted about an hour. Then, to finish up the night we went to Moulin Rouge around 11pm. This show was amazing! If you like vibrant colors, sparkles, dancing, and singing you will love this performance! Just a warning: there is some nudity!

Belt: Hermes / Shoes: LolaShoetique
Shopping: Champs-Elysése
This area is perfect for a day of shopping! The street is lined with designer stores along with H&M and Zara. The most exciting part is the original Louis Vuitton store, which is 3 stories tall!! Of course my mom and I had to buy something for our souvenir. I got a Louis Vuitton belt and my mom got a pair of sunglasses. I think I could have stayed in that store for hours!
Food:
A few of the restaurants we visited included George V Cafe (great cocktails and French fries) and Le Lutèce. My favorite thing I ate while there was escargot! Don't knock it till you have tried it! You will learn that I am not a picky eater at all. Also, any type crêpe is a must! I mean who doesn't love Nutella?! Also, a Caprese salad is good, no matter the country, and don't forget to try the French onion soup.
I know there is a ton of things you can do while in Paris, but we were only there for 2 days so we tried to pack as much as possible in such a short period of time.
Paris is definitely on my list of places to return to, but maybe when it is a little warmer!
XO,
Alex Rinna
