Valentine's Day: The Perfect Red Lip

Top: Amazon / Lipstick: Smashbox

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope everyone is having an amazing day filled with hugs, roses, and chocolate! Whether you are going on a hot date tonight or have a girl's night out, a red lip is always a good idea! A lot of people think they can't pull off red lipstick, but I personally think it looks good on everyone! I went to Ole Miss, so I think I got use to wearing red lipstick every Saturday to the football games. If you have never been to a game, then you will learn that we like to dress up. I'm talking dresses, heels, hair curled, red lipstick...the whole 9 yards. This is when I discovered some of my go-to red lipsticks and I wanted to share them with you!

The red lipstick I am wearing in my picture is called "Be Legendary" by Smashbox. This is one of my favorites, but probably the most expensive one I own. It is worth the price! You can find it at Sephora.

The next lipstick is Sonia Kashuk in the color "Classic Red" (#93). This is a deeper shade of red, so it is perfect if you don't want to jump right into the red-hot shade. You can shop it HERE.

This red lipstick is in the shade "Red Chili" by Elizabeth Mott. This is a liquid lipstick that has a matte finish and stays on ALL day! You will not have to worry about it getting all over your wine glass and coming right off!

The next lipstick is under $8!! This Maybelline lipstick in the shade "Are You Red-dy" has been my #1 for YEARS! It is so creamy and very pigmented! I highly suggest it if you don't want to spend a lot on your first red lipstick! You can get this lipstick at any drug store or Ulta.

There are a ton of red lipsticks out there, but these are my favorite ones that I can't seem to steer away from! I hope I helped you find that classic glamorous shade that will make you stand out for Valentine's Day! I know you will be rocking the red lip tonight!

Jared and myself will be trying out an Italian restaurant! We both LOVE pasta, so hopefully it is just as good as his spaghetti!
