Hey y'all, how is it already Monday?! My weekend went by so fast! Jared and I had a very eventful weekend, which is also kind of funny. Friday night we dressed up and went to a black tie event and Saturday we went camping! Completely 2 opposite events LOL. Growing up, I would always spend time outside, especially on a four wheeler, so I am glad he is bringing out my adventurous side! If you are in Charleston, I suggest getting a group to go camping on Capers Island. You have to take a boat out to it, which makes it even more secluded. This Island is so peaceful, especially watching the sunset! I am already looking forward to going back!
Since it is Monday, I figured we all need a little motivation to kick start our week! Wearing patterned yoga pants are in style, which I LOVE, because looking cute can always help in getting your booty to the gym a little easier! My ultimate favorite workout brand to wear is Lulu Lemon. I feel like their pants really fit me and they don't slide down when I run, like some other less expensive brands do. This brand is pricey, but the quality is great! A few more of my favorite brands include Zella and ALO. I highly suggest going to Nordstrom Rack, because you can find Zella yoga pants for up to 80% off! Most yoga pants you see me wear will be high waisted. I love how the high waste band sucks in your stomach and you have the option to just wear a sports bra with them. I am trying to wear my yoga pants as much as possible, because soon it will be way too HOT in Charleston to wear pants to workout.

I know Mondays can be rough, but I promise you will feel so much better if you get up and workout. Working out for me is my time to relax (as much as that sounds crazy). It helps me clear my mind, especially when I get to run outside. If not, when I run on the treadmill, I watch one of my Bravo shows, which helps my run go by way faster! My new routine consist of working out at 6am every morning (Monday-Friday), so then it is out of the way for the rest of the day! I also noticed I lost some weight when I started working out in the morning, but I'm not sure if the time had anything to do with it. Another tip, is to not miss more than 3 days in a row. If I go Friday through Monday without working out, it is extremely hard for me to get back on track. Jared watched a podcast, which said if you think you have hit your max on running or working out, you are really only at 40%. Remember to push yourself past your limit, because it will only make you feel better in the end! Let me know if you would like me to share a more detailed blog of my daily workout routine! Have a fantastic week!
XO,
Alex Rinna
