Hey y'all, where did the weekend go?! The only reason I have motivation today is because The Bachelor finale is tonight, which is an excuse to have a cheese board and wine! This is a great cure to any Monday. Even though I haven't been the biggest fan of this season, I always look forward to the finale! Is this going to be the most dramatic finale ever?!
I have recently heard of some new beauty products, so I wanted to test them out and share my thoughts! The products are a mix of high end and drugstore. All product links are underlined and I have also linked them at the end of the blog!
High End Products
Everyone has been in LOVE with this rosewater facial spray, so I finally tried it out. Now I know the reason! This misting spray is SO refreshing! It gives your face a boost of hydration and a pick me up. I spray it on my face with or without makeup and you can even use it to set your makeup. The linked product is a perfect travel size and can easily fit in your purse! Also, it is only $7!
Hands down best highlighter I have ever tried! Amrezy is a girl I have been following on Instagram for years and her makeup is always on point, especially her SHINE! She calls this highlighter "sun in a compact" and I promise you will be shining brighter than the sun. It gives you the perfect glow! The swatch on my hand is from just one swipe! I apply this on my cheek bones, cupids bow, and tip of the nose. You can only purchase it off the website, so I have linked it HERE. It is a limited edition, so don't miss out!
This eye cream has become one of my holy grail products! It is a daily eye cream that hydrates, tightens, and brightens your skin. It also corrects fine lines and wrinkles and I already see a difference. I use this as a moisturizer/primer under my concealer. It helps the concealer lay flat on the skin. This is a high end product, but the price is so worth it!
Drugstore Products
This is a brand new L'Oreal True Match product, so I wanted to try it out. I am a big fan of most True Match products (the foundation is my favorite!). This product is basically a highlighting lotion, but also has a tint of color. I LOVE this because during the summer you could just wear the "glotion" and be good to go! It comes in 4 shades from Fair to Deep. I purchased the color medium (903). I rub this product on my cheek bones before I put on my foundation. It is only $12, so if you want a natural looking shine, then I highly recommend this product!
This is my go-to lip treatment! This will be my second time purchasing it, because I am obsessed! It keeps your lips so moisturized and smooth! This color is called sugar smooth. They also have a lip scrub, which I haven't tried yet! You can find this product at any CVS or Target and it is only $7.69.
Maybelline's new eyeliner is just $5! Each shade has a glittery tint to it, so it is more of a product for a night out. It comes in 5 shades. I bought the shade Shiny Bronze and I plan to try White Luster. You can apply this as regular eye liner on your upper lash line. The main reason I purchased it is because I love to put shiny eye shadow on the inner corner of my eye, so this makes it so much easier! I promise this will make your eyes POP!
Maybelline just came out with a new line of matte liquid lipsticks and I am not the biggest fan. I found it to be super sticky. My lips were getting stuck together! Also, the shade was way too light for my skin tone (Shade: Driver), but on a positive note, they have a wide variety of colors! I will say that the name "Super Stay" holds true. It does not come off. I was going to the gym after I tried it, and I couldn't get it off, so I had to be THAT girl who looks all dolled up for the gym LOL.
