Robe: H&M (only $30 and comes in 3 colors!)
Hey y'all, I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions about my two current beauty subscriptions. I love them both, but they definitely have their differences! I love beauty subscriptions, because it truly feels like Christmas morning every time I receive one! The major difference in IPSY and BoxyCharm is that one comes with 5 smaller or sample size products and one comes with 4 to 5 full-sized products, which is the reasoning behind the price difference. The pictures below show both subscriptions side by side. Keep reading to find out more details!
Price: $10 per month
Includes: Makeup bag, 5 smaller/sample size products
Consumer: Beginner-Expert or someone who likes to try different brands.
I have been using IPSY for over a year now, so that is just proof that I love it! My favorite part of IPSY is that they fill your monthly bag completely personalized to you. First, you fill out your profile with your favorite products, brands, skin tone, hair color. Over the last year I have received products ranging from eyeshadow, makeup brushes, face mask, hair products, and nail polish. Not to mention you get a brand new makeup bag every month! As you can see in the picture below, you could even color on the March bag! The fun part is that each month has a new theme! Also, once you see what products you get, they provide a full description on how to use the products and even provide videos and tips from other IPSY users. I haven't used the point system yet, but that is another feature they offer. You can gain points by reviewing items (I always forget) and these points can get you even more samples. As I said above, this is a great subscription if you are willing to try new products that you would not normally hear of!

This is my first time using BoxyCharm and I am obsessed! Each month you receive 4 to 5 full-sized products that are at a $100 value. These products can range from makeup products, hair products, brushes, skincare. Unlike IPSY, specific products are not picked out just for you....but then again you are getting full-sized products! The box caught my attention because I saw every "charmer" was getting a Colourpop eyeshadow palette. This product itself it usually $18! They also have a rewards program, where you can earn "charms" to put towards a purchase of a product.
If you want to become a "charmer" you can use my code HERE.

My Ipsy bag and Boxycharm for May should be in my mailbox now, so you better believe I am picking that up right after I post this! I know this month in the IPSY bag I am getting HUDA Beauty Liquid Lipstick, which is an amazing product! In the BoxyCharm I am getting CoverFX primer, which every makeup artist on youtube uses, so I am so excited to try it out! As you can see, both subscriptions are so fun, exciting, and provide great products! I know this was a lot of information, so feel free to send me a message on Instagram (rinnavatingtherunway) with any questions! I promise I could talk about beauty products for years if you let me!
