Hey y'all, so if you follow me on Instagram you are probably tired of the overload of pictures from Costa Rica. Well lucky for you, I have officially posted every outfit I wore during our vacation! I wanted to share more details about each outfit including sizing, and talk about my amazing experience!
Hotel:
My family stayed at the Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo. This hotel is in the middle of the tropical forest on the beach. The service was amazing! The hotel had 1 kid pool, which we actually enjoyed more, and 1 adult pool. They had pool side service for food and drinks. I highly recommend the sangria!! The views are spectacular! You could be swimming and look up and see a monkey right above you! The hotel had 3 restaurants, which were all incredible! They also had a fitness center, which my family surprisingly went to every day! I was proud of us! You have to get a massage at the spa! My mom and I get a massage every vacation we go on and call it our "souvenir". This time we got a hot stone massage and a facial. It was incredible and even better, you could hear the monkeys in the background! If we were to go back, we would definitely consider this hotel again!
Activities:
1. Moonrise tour: One night we went on a tour where you canoed to watch the moon rise. You were in the middle of the ocean, the sky was dark, and the moon was so bright. It was truly breathtaking! The coolest part was their water contains bioluminescent plankton, so when you put your hand in the water, it glows! It looks like an ocean full of diamonds! We then canoed to The Beach House, where they had a barbecue buffet set up for us with a band and drinks right on the water!
2. Zip Line and ATV Tour: The company we used was The Congo Trail. We traveled about an hour to go Zip Lining and ride ATVs. First, you took a 2 hour tour around costa rica on an ATV. This reminded me of when I was young and would always ride a four wheeler through the woods! You went through deep water, which was scary, but also so fun!! We then went zip lining through the forest. There were 11 lines to zip line. You have to do this! I promise it is not scary! My mom and brother are scared of heights, so if they can do it, anyone can. My dad and brother even went upside down on one!! Yes, my mom and I almost had a heart attack when we saw my dad flying down the zip line upside down! I promise sometimes he thinks he is still 30 LOL. They also allowed you to fly down the zip line like superman, so you were on your stomach. Bottom line, this tour was so thill-seeking and fun!
Ok, now time to dive into my outfits. Well, first thing we learned it gets dark around 5:30 each night. If you are a blogger this is not good, because I would never get ready until 5:30! To be honest, one day I got ready and I took pictures in a few outfits. You have to do what you have to do LOL. A BIG SHOUTOUT to my mom for taking all of my pictures!! She is becoming a pro (even though she was so over it!) and I am so proud of my blogger mom!! I have linked everything below each picture!
