2019 GOALS

Jumpsuit (On SALE for $20, Available in silver and gold)

Happy New Year!! Where did the year go? It flew by, but looking back I have had some amazing memories. First off, exactly one year ago today, I took the leap and started my blog! I remember I was in London for school shaking as I posted on my website for the first time. I was so scared what people would think and their judgment. What I learned through this process is WHO CARES? Blogging is what I enjoy and someone's opinion should not hold me back on my happiness. This has been such a crazy experience, but I do not regret it for a second. I want to THANK everyone for supporting me along this journey. This year, I also earned my MBA, and all of the late nights studying was definitely worth it! At some points, I wanted to give up but THANKS to my family, friends, and boyfriend, I made it and the feeling of having my Masters is so rewarding. I went on some amazing trips with my family and boyfriend. I got to see my family's new Popeyes be built from the ground up and plan my first Family and Friends Night/Grand Opening. I can't wait to see what GOD has planned for RRG in 2019! I have a feeling this year will be the best one yet!

This blog post is mainly to hold myself accountable for my goals in 2019. Yes, I said "GOALS" and not "resolutions". I find that if I make specific small goals, it is more realistic for me. For example, I can't say I am going to work out more in 2019. Well what does this mean? So one of my goals is to work out 5 days a week.

2019 GOALS

1. START MY DAY EARLY

I want to wake up at 7am to go to the gym. This way I get it out of the way and I can focus on work. (I will hopefully change this to 6am, but I have to start with 7.....I LOVE my sleep, so I can't push it LOL.

2. COOK

I meal prep every Monday, so I want to continue to do this. I also want to cook at least 3 times a month for Jared. You probably just burst out laughing because most couples cook together all of the time, but I am out of town most of the week so this makes it harder.

3. GROW

I want to grow in my personal development, work, spiritually, my personal health, and my blog.

-Personal Development: listen to one episode of a personal development podcast per day.(business, relationships, leadership, entrepreneurship, religion, marketing, blogging)

-Work: I want to take more of a leadership role in my family's company. I want to motivate our employees each day to grow in our company. My goal is to not hold back and I want to give myself a voice. I sometimes overthink situations or am too shy to speak up, but I am constantly learning if you want to be successful, you have to take control and speak your mind (in a positive sense).

-Spiritually: I want to go to church 2 times per month. Jared and myself attend a church in Charleston, but we are always out of town. Luckily, I can watch the service online, so I am going to either attend Church or watch it online each Sunday. NO excuses! If GOD is constantly watching over us and protecting us, we can set aside 1 hour each Sunday to spend time with him and continue to grow our relationship. I am also going to read 3 chapters in the bible per week.

-Personal health: Drink more water and workout 5 days per week!

-Blog: I want to be more open and honest with all of my followers regarding my personal and work life. My goal is to post on my Instagram stories each day and have 2 blog post per month...I already have multiple blog post in mind, so this number could increase! I want to make it to 10,000 followers...REAL followers. (One of my pet peeves is girls who buy followers)...I want 10,000 real followers that truly support me and enjoy seeing my outfits.

Lets all GROW together. Cheers to 2019 and sticking to your goals!

XO,

Alex Rinna
