Hey y'all, I discovered so many new beauty products in 2018 that I will definitely be bringing with me into 2019! Below you will find all the products that I fell in LOVE with! Yes, it is a super long list, but I enjoy trying new makeup and want to share my personal favorites!
Primer:
Mary Kay foundation primer sunscreen: This primer makes your skin feel silky smooth! My mom and myself have been using it for a few years now! Our good family friend, Margaret Bartsch, is a National Sales Director for Mary Kay. You can purchase all products on her website. I promise if you saw her skin, you would be wishing you started using Mary Kay products years ago!
Foundation:
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation: Super lightweight and leaves a natural flawless look! This is a great everyday foundation!
Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able full coverage foundation: A little goes a LONG way and this is 100% full coverage! If you have a special event I highly recommend using this. I mix it with my Clinique foundation on the weekends!
L'Oreal Infallible shaping stick in shade honey (409): This is a foundation stick, but I use it to contour, which is why the shade is so dark. The product is creamy and blends smoothly!
Blush:
Laura Geller in shade Tropic Hues: I love the marbleized color! This is my everyday blush right now.
Nars in shade Orgasm: Every makeup youtube guru uses this blush and I approve!
Concealer:
Maybelline Age Rewind in shade Neutralizer: I have tried SO many high end concealers and this drug store one is still my favorite! All of my friends use it when they get ready with me.
Tarte Shape Tape in shade light neutral: The most popular concealer. It is definitely my second favorite concealer.
Bronzer:
Marc Jacobs Omega Bronze in shade Tan-Tastic: Hands down the best bronzer in the makeup game. It smells amazing and even the packaging is gorgeous!
Nars bronzer in shade Laguna: I use this for my powder contour.
*I have been on a hunt for a good drug store bronzer, but I didn't fall in LOVE with any that I tried. I will continue the hunt in 2019 and keep you updated.
Highlighters:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter: This was limited edition but they have to bring it back or I might have a breakdown (dramatic I know)....but if you had the chance to try this you will understand. This highlighter makes your skin GLOW! Since it is no longer at Sephora, I found it on Amazon (here), but ordering makeup off of Amazon can be sketchy.
Setting Powder:
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder: I use this daily to "bake" my makeup. It basically sets your makeup, so it stays on all day and leaves a matte finish. I just bought my second one and I can't imagine not using it!
Eyeshadow Palette:
Violet Voss HG Pro Eyeshadow Palette: These shades are so pigmented and are the perfect colors for summer and winter.
Eyebrows:
Benefit Cosmetics Ka-brow cream-gel in Shade 3: I use this EVERY SINGLE DAY....I can't live without it!
Benefit Cosmetics Bomb Ass Brows by Desi Perkins: If you are wondering what products to purchase to fill in your brows, this kit comes with everything you need! I bought this and love it!
Flawless Brows Eyebrow Hair Removal: I mainly use this tool to get rid of the baby hairs around my eyebrows. It is the perfect travel size if you didn't have time to get your eyebrows waxed or if you are too scared!
Tools and Brushes:
Beauty Blender: This has been a game changer when applying and blending makeup! Just damp the sponge to blend out your foundation and concealer.
Foreo: A cleansing device that deeply cleans your face and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. I take off my makeup with a makeup wipe and then put Clinique foaming cleanser on the device to clean my face. The vibrations leave your skin feeling so soft.
Makeup Wipes:
Simple CLeansing Facial Wipes: These feel so soothing on your face and they are perfect for sensitive skin! I discovered these after I had my allergic reaction to the Neutrogena wipes.
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm: This is also super gentle on your face and easily takes off your makeup!
Hair products:
T3 whirl Trio Styling Wand Set: Worth every penny! I promise! This set comes with 3 different barrels to create different curls from beachy waves to tights spiral curls.
